English Democrats elected to the Assembly will campaign tirelessly for a referendum of those citizens in the territory which comprised the pre-1974 English county of Monmouthshire. Click here to download our Letting Monmouthshire Decide campaign leaflet.
There is a real issue here. The people of Monmouthshire have been wronged by an arrogant and undemocratic party establishment. Former Welsh Office Minister, Win Griffiths MP sums up this attitude perfectly in this letter. In it, he not only agrees that pre 1974, Monmouthshire was within the borders of England - but he then states that the Government has no plans for a referendum on the subject.
WELL NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE THEM CHANGE THEIR MINDS!
